Our Beliefs
01
We believe in Yaweh, the one true God.
Yahweh, the one true God has revealed Himself as the eternally self-existent “I AM,” the Creator of heaven and earth and the Redeemer of mankind. He has further revealed Himself as embodying the principles of relationship and association as Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Deuteronomy 6:4; Isaiah 43:10, 11; Matthew 28:19; Luke 3:22).
02
We believe in Jesus Christ.
The Lord Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God. The Scriptures declare His virgin birth (Matthew 1:23; Luke 1:31; Luke 1:35), His sinless life (1 Peter 2:22), His miracles (Acts 2:22; ), His sacrifice for our sins on the cross (2 Corinthians 5:21), His bodily resurrection from the dead ( Luke 24:39; ), and His exaltation to the right hand of God ( Acts 1:11). Jesus lives and we believe that all those who repent and accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior are not only made new but, by the grace of God, declared to be right with him, receiving forgiveness and eternal life.
03
We believe in the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit — the third Person of the Godhead is the counselor who provides followers of Jesus Christ with a deeper revelation of God's Word, convicts and transforms man, and serves as the great comforter. The Baptism of the Holy Spirit and all of the Gifts of the Spirit upon being born again in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, are gifts of power to be used to glorify God in ministry, throughout the course of our lives, and to bear witness
04
We believe that the Bible is the Word of God
The Scriptures, both the Old and New Testaments, are verbally inspired of God and are the revelation of God to man, the infallible, authoritative rule of faith and conduct. The Bible is the inspired Word of God, a revelation from God to mankind, the infallible rule of faith and conduct, and is superior to conscience and reason, but not contrary to reason (2 Timothy 3:15-16; 1 Peter 2:2).
05
We believe in the power of community
We believe in the transformative power of love (John 15:12), compassion (Colossians 3:12–14), and teamwork (Galatians 6:2) to not only solve local issues in the present as a community but, ultimately, realize the conscious development of a society focused on working together to create responsible sustainable futures for all.
